Dearborn Partners Intermediate Government/Credit Fixed Income product (sub-advised by Baird Advisors) employs a duration-neutral, risk-controlled fixed income investment management approach, and purchases U.S. dollar-denominated investment grade securities. The duration of each portfolio is set to equal that of the Barclays Capital Intermediate U.S. Government/Credit Bond Index, thus ensuring a high degree of predictability in tracking benchmark returns. Incremental value is then added through yield-curve positioning, sector allocation, security selection and competitive trade execution. The results are predictable, consistent and competitive over complete market cycles.
