CHICAGO, October 15, 2018 — Dearborn Partners, an independent Chicago investment management firm, has added veteran external wholesaler James D. Lathrop, AIF, to its sales team. This addition further enhances their ability to provide first-rate service to clients.
Lathrop has more than 31 years of sales and marketing experience. He joins Dearborn Partners from Russell Investments where he was a Regional Director in the Midwest. Prior to Russell Investments, Jim was a Regional Manager for Alliance Bernstein and a Senior Regional Marketing Director for Putnam Investments.
Lathrop, based in St. Louis, joins the Dearborn Partners Rising Dividend Strategy sales team headed by Richard Seitz, along with Brian A. Payne (Midwest & Northeast) and Katie Wolford (Internal). Lathrop will oversee the Southeast region and a portion of the Midwest.
